Welp I realized my current pixel brushes won't work long term because I can't resize them (my ape brain didn't realize that pixel perfect stuff has to be that way unless you scale it up in x2 increments, nothing else). This would be a pain in the ass for many, many reasons, so I'm going back to regular brushes and stuff.

Well, good side is that I'll have some fun finding brushes to use again... Plus it's not like I can't do pixel stuff ever again, I can do that every now and then lol. I've been pondering on re-drawing my pixelated stuff later on when I nail down what regular brushes to use, but that's later. I really want to do new things for now

So I finally found a way to make backgrounds that feels comfortable and I think looks nice. Kinda shameful it took so much pondering on my part but all I needed to feel like it "clicked" was gradients. That's it. So I'm using that now.

Also this last piece took me way, way too long to finish. I really need to nail down my shading game, it's ridiculous how many hours it takes for me to do. And it doesn't even look FANTASTIC so to speak so kinda unhappy with that. HOWEVER everything else is coming together rather nicely, I'm feeling good about my art and that's really good for the mind...
